Criminal Law

Most criminal work is on legal aid and if it is then cases are usually assigned by the state to the lawyer. You can choose your lawyer on legal aid if the charges are sufficiently serious or in certain other circumstances such as if you've rung the lawyer on the police detention scheme from the police station after hours.

Wayne Jones is a former police prosecutor and does the full range of criminal work, with legal aid categorisation PC2, meaning that he can do most jury trials.

Steven Zindel is categorised for all criminal cases including very serious trials and appeals. If you are wishing to pay privately you can always choose your lawyer and we have the collective skills so that few cases will be beyond us.
